Warhammer 40,000: Firewarrior is a first-person shooter set in the dark gothic sci-fi future where you play as Kais, a young Tau warrior set to embark on a journey to become a Fire Warrior by completing your 'Trial by Fire' - your very first combat experience.

But little do you know what a cruel hand fate is about to deal you as, what should be only a trial, turns into full scale warfare and a struggle for survival against the ruthless and vicious Imperium of Mankind. Fight for survival through the next 24 hours blasting your way across 17 adrenalin-fuelled levels with an arsenal of 17 unique player weapons – more than in any other console game.

The game's progression is led by a powerful narrative, expressed though radio messages and cut scenes and featuring voice overs from amongst others two of Britain's best-loved actors Tom Baker and Brian Blessed.

Other features include:

Solid 15+ hours of single player gameplay

Endless hours of death-match multiplay through split-screen and PlayStation 2 online options

22 Enemy Characters to Fight

Four-player split screen Multiplayer on Unique Maps

Full Sony online multiplayer capability.

Mission replay for medals

Unlockable bonus modes

An intense horror atmosphere

Developed by Kuju and published by THQ, Fire Warrior is released for PC and PlayStation 2 on 26th September 2003 priced £34.99.
