SAHARA is a motion picture based on one of the 17 best-selling action-adventure books by Clive Cussler. Produced by Crusader Entertainment and directed by Breck Eisner, the film is set in North Africa and follows the adventures of a modern day hero, Dirk Pitt® (Matthew McConaughey), a Special Project Director for the U.S. National Underwater and Marine Agency (NUMA). Pitt is a master explorer who finds himself set against an evil billionaire industrialist in a bid to save the world from the spread of a catastrophic pollutant.
