by Rainier on Feb. 29, 2004 @ 6:45 p.m. PST

Prism: Black Shield is a high-end, 3D, first person shooter game based on homeland defense for the Army National Guard (ARNG). In the game, players will use futuristic US military weapons, equipment and technology as part of a secret new team to combat terrorists on US soil. Players will battle individually or in teams against the game's advanced artificial intelligence (AI) terrorists and react to a wide range of homeland terrorism scenarios.

Prism: Black Shield will concentrate on introducing weaponry and fighting technology destined for US military use in the year 2010 to include Computer Guided Assault Rifles, Active Camouflage, Hover Cameras, etc. The player will enter a realistic combat environment with the weapons of the future. This is a hi-tech fighting environment where players can stretch their imagination and enter a futuristic world... which, given current intense technology research and development by the US military, is not too far in the future!!!
