About Judy

As WP's managing editor, I edit review and preview articles, attempt to keep up with the frantic pace of Rainier's news posts, and keep our reviewers on deadline, which is akin to herding cats. When I have a moment to myself and don't have my nose in a book, I like to play action/RPG, adventure and platforming games.

'Hollow' - Screens

by Judy on Aug. 9, 2004 @ 7:56 p.m. PDT

Hollow is an intense rollercoaster through four distinct worlds with a compelling story, excellent graphics, breakthrough immersion system with psychometrics, and numerous innovative gameplay features. Hollow is a first person action totally nonlinear game with playtime of about 25 hours in 23 unique episodes.

The story is set in the background of the world of 1970's as it would be without the Second World War, in a Disco-totalitarian state called Centrope. Tyler Kilmore, an expelled US journalist, came back to Centrope after five long years to reunite with his fiancée that he had to leave behind, only to be arrested for her murder. Tyler literally goes all the way to Hell to get her, and unravels a primeval mystery that will rewrite the history of mankind from scratch.
