Rush For Berlin is a tactical real time strategy game, set on the European battlefields of World War II, during 1944-45. The player's goal; to capture the German capital, as either the British/US/French alliance or the Red army of the Soviet Union. The act symbolizes the total defeat of the Third Reich and means the end of the war on the European continent. Players face more and more challenges, as they get closer to the capital. The game is based on historical facts and gives wide possibilities for changing history and playing an alternative reality.

In addition to popular game modes: Cooperative, Domination and Death match, Stormregion are introducing two more unique and never-before-seen modes: R.I.S.K. and R.U.S.H. The two new modes promise to add additional excitement to the gameplay:

  • R.I.S.K. (Race-Intensive Strategic Kombat) Each participant is given a randomly assigned task without being informed of the other players' aims. The first player to complete the task is deemed as victorious. Since none of your adversaries know what your aims really are, it's possible to mislead them. Stormregion promises fair balancing and multifaceted missions: players may have to hold a target, defeat a particular team, collect objects dropped by planes or seek out and destroy specific units. A countdown tells players when one side is about to succeed. Either demolish their target - which could be a captured tank for instance - or simply wipe out their entire army before time runs out. On the other hand, you can also gamble that other players will intervene to stop them and simply continue towards your goal.
  • R.U.S.H (Relentlessly Utilized Score Hunt): This mode works along the same principles as the game itself: as the player rush for a given target(s) to occupy various objects, points are awarded. Whoever scores the most points during a given time period OR reaches the preset score limit wins. Each object grants the victory team a one-time bonus (and a reduced bonus if the object is destroyed). All latecomers remain empty-handed. In certain situations, your most strategic victory decision is to destroy objects from a distance to hinder the enemy from taking them.
  • Cooperative Mode : Invite your friend to join your great battles on your side. This is a great game mode for joint action. It allows players to play together against the AI. The fun part of this mode is that levels can be heavily unbalanced in favour of one side (AI), as players play on the same side and combine forces.
  • Death match/Skirmish: Death match is the classic mode. Fight your way through the enemy front - against your friends or against the AI. The only goal is to eliminate any and all units belonging to other players - or teams. The difference between the two modes is the presence of AI (a death match is played between human players, while Skirmish puts at least one human player against the AI). Any combination of teams is allowed within the player limit, the AI can substitute any player in any team. Reinforcements (factories, camps) are allowed on all levels.
  • Domination Mode : Dominate the landscape and hold your positions. Each map has a certain amount of flags. The goal is to hold the most flags for the longest possible time. Each flag has a point value, and at given intervals this point value is added to the team's pool. One of the great advantages of this multiplayer mode is the possibility to play fast battles - it is possible to fight for only a few minutes, which calls for truly different tactics!

Features :

  • Play a historical timeline or an alternate World War II reality.
  • Time is running out, as forces 'Rush' to capture Berlin.
  • Improved GEPARDĀ® graphics engine: further developed graphics and game engine ensures top notch graphical, sound and video quality.
  • More than 100 units, including fictional ones
  • Fully destructible buildings, graphical feedback on the landscape, structures and units on fire create an atmosphere comparable to the greatest war movies.
  • The highly detailed damage model allows partial loss of functionality and various attack strategies (e.g. tank attacks from the rear). The Computer opponent will react accordingly.
  • Officers (heroes) are a special unit type. Their special abilities affect more units, so they are powerful, but most of the time not mission critical (they can die without losing the level)
  • Soldiers can enter buildings and indoor fire-fights are possible.
  • Air support and reinforcements can be asked by the player with special units.
  • Day and night, weather effects all affect hearing and sight conditions making new strategies possible
