Major Changes To r36:

  • Improved performance during explosions by improving spatial
  • partitioning algorithms and implementation.
  • Improved rigid body performance
  • Enabled cloth support in software testing/debug mode. Note: Previous versions of CellFactor provided an undocumented software mode in which cloth and fluids were disabled for the following reasons:
    • - Inability of acceptable processing of these features without PhysX™ processor
    • - Reduced rigid body performance during moments of extreme physics interaction
    • - Known visualization bugs and issues which still may be present in software debug mode.
  • Reality Builder requires an installed PhysX accelerator for correct operation.
  • Relocation of some of the core files, including shaders and textures, into the root game directory for ease of access for game level developers.
  • Additional game modules can be placed in the root game directory and will automatically be listed in the Modules menu off of the main options screen.
