Matt Firor Leaves EA Mythic

by Rainier on July 12, 2006 @ 11:06 p.m. PDT

In a somewhat surprising move, it seems long time MMO creator Matt Firor has left the company he co-founded many years ago. Known for Dark Age of Camelot, Mythic was recently bought by Electronic Arts, renamed to EA Mythic, and is currently working on Warhammer Online. While there is no official statement just yet, it is widely believed Matt left to start a new developing company closer to home and shorten his commute time.
