SouthPeak Interactive and Artificial Studios announce that their four-player cooperative online-enabled action game Monster Madness: Battle For Suburbia will be blasting its way onto PC and the Xbox 360 this spring.

"Bringing Monster Madness: Battle for Suburbia to Xbox 360 and Windows is exciting to us -- not only as a development team, but also as gamers," said Jeremy Stieglitz, President of Artificial Studios. "We wanted to focus on making a game that would be fun for players to just pick up and play, while also delivering a new twist on classic gameplay."

Monster Madness: Battle for Suburbia is an innovative third-person shooter that provides both a compelling single-player experience for up to 4 players per system, and up to 16-player competitive combat. Gamers will be able to slash, shoot and drive through a menagerie of monsters in the campaign mode, or take the battle online for networked cooperative gameplay.

Monster Madness: Battle For Suburbia also features more than 50 different monsters, each possessing unique attacks and strategies. Additionally, players will find a variety of homemade weapons scattered throughout the levels, an array of environments such as Suburban Nightmare, Cemetery Scary and The Shopping Maul, and a story that is told through comic book style cinematic sequences.

"We are delighted to be working so closely with Artificial Studios to develop the Monster Madness brand, and are excited that Jeremy Stieglitz's team is such an inspirational and creative force," said Katie Morgan, Executive Vice President of SouthPeak Interactive. "With so many sequels currently on the market, we think consumers will find Monster Madness to be a refreshing new addition to the third-person shooter and action genre when it makes its way to anxiously awaiting gamers next spring."
