'Dawn of War' MMO in the Works?

by Rainier on March 14, 2007 @ 7:54 p.m. PDT

A job recruitment page for several open positions at THQ's internal development studio Relic Entertainment reveals multiple projects are in the works, but while most descriptions are ambiguous, one provides some interesting info. Relic is looking for a Senior Network Programmer to work on a Dawn of War project, which could mean any number of things, if it weren't the requirement of proven MMO development experience, as well as client, server architecture and TCP/IP networking. To top it all off, the listing also mentions Xbox Live, GameSpy, Quazal and Demonware, possibly indicating a multiplatform MMO.
