At the heart of PS3 is the Cell Broadband Engine, one of the most advanced computer processors in the world, that enables massive floating point calculation, and Blu-ray Disc (BD) drive, providing a High Definition (1080p) next-generation gaming and movie experience in the home, as well as up to 50 GB of data capacity.
Sony has rolled out new PlayStation Store content, starting with a slew of free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers (LittleBigPlanet Avatar, MAG Theme, Gravity Crash etc..), Landit Bandit, DeathSpank, Groovin’ Blocks (PSP), demos for Blur, Deathspank, Gladiator Begins (PSP), DLCs for BUZZ!, NCAA Football 11, Trinity Universe, song packs for Guitar Hero 5, Rock Band, and the usual game/movie trailers, and PS3 themes.
