While Star Wars Battlefront 2 was teased at last year's E3, little to no details have been revealed on the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront sequel.
Previously EA chief financial officer Blake Jorgensen stated that "the developers are working very hard on making sure that is an extremely deep and engaging offering," and that we should "expect a new Star Wars title every year, for the next three to four years."
Visceral Games and Respawn Entertainment (Titanfall) are both working on new titles set in the Star Wars universe.
Earlier today EA confirmed that:
Our next Star Wars Battlefront will be even bigger, taking players into more locations, and allowing them to play with more heroes and characters across multiple Star Wars eras. There will be new ways to play, including an all-new single-player campaign, and much, much more that we are excited to share with our players in the months ahead.
