Rogue Heroes: Ruins of Tasos is an up-to-four-player, action role-playing game that blends roguelike gameplay with procedural dungeons and an expansive fantasy overworld.

Rogue Heroes features classic top down sword slashing combat with a large set of tools, spells, and weapons at your disposal. Fight through 5+ dungeons each with their own style, room layouts and unique dangers.

In addition to battling enemies across the major dungeons, Rogue Heroes: Ruins of Tasos also features skill tree customization for characters, while village building gameplay mechanics provide townspeople with more services and houses to improve their lives.

Dungeons are procedurally generated to connect hand made rooms and mix up the layout so no two runs are the same. Keys, puzzles, and traps are mixed up, even within the rooms things won't always play out the same way. Combining randomization with hand placements gives replayability without the fallbacks of uninteresting design that can come from full random generation.

Play in solo or in coop with up to 4 players through the entire campaign beginning to end. Build up your village into a bustling community, take down the dungeons that threaten the outer areas and collect tools to open up your world. Max out your Hero and take them into the infinite dungeon to see how they stack up against a never ending onslaught of enemies, traps, and puzzles.

“We’ve had a fantastically busy period releasing two titles on Steam in just three years, but for Rogue Heroes: Ruins of Tasos – our most ambitious game to date – we wanted to ensure we had the support and experience of a publishing label behind us. Team17’s track record of helping developers successfully bring their games to market brought us reassurance that Rogue Heroes will realise its potential, and we can’t wait to launch the game in 2020,” said Heliocentric Studios Programmer Joshua Gump.

“Heliocentric Studios’ innovative takes on mixing classic game genres continues to help the team stand out from the crowd, and with Rogue Heroes: Ruins of Tasos they’re looking to do so once again. Rogue Heroes is a great addition to our ever-growing portfolio of titles that we’re publishing in 2020, and we can’t wait to support Joshua and Brandon in realising their vision for the game,” commented Team17 Head of Publishing Max Everingham.

Fish, Fight, Farm, Build, Explore there's many things to do in Rogue Heroes all with their own progression that feeds into other activities and pursuits.

Rogue Heroes: Ruins of Tasos is coming to PC (Steam) in 2020.
