The Core / Premium Xbox 360 controversy seems to be taking a new turn as a boxcover for Sports Interactive's upcoming Football Manager 2006 reveals that it requires a hard drive. Microsoft assured that all games would be playable on every X360, HD or not, so the real question is, what's the HD requirement for? The game itself might very well be playable but save games for the FM series can turn out to be rather big, and the mem stick is only 64mb. Hopefully SI, SEGA or Microsoft will provide further details ...

SEGA Europe and Sports Interactive are delighted to confirm that last Friday's UK launch of Football Manager 2006 has netted retail sales of over 100,000 units during its first weekend of release according to Chart-Track retail estimates. Storming the PC chart at No.1, Football Manager 2006 is now the 2nd fastest-selling PC game of all time in the UK.

SEGA announced today the game will launch October 21st, 2005. This demo comes in 2 versions, small, with only 2 leagues and English language, or big, with 16 leagues and 8 languages.
