Ubi Soft has announced that Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Island Thunder has been shipped to stores in North America. Island Thunder is a stand-alone expansion that features 12 different game types as well as 12 multiplayer maps--four of which have been taken directly from the original version of Ghost Recon. Island Thunder also has full support for Xbox Live, allowing players to take squad-based shooting action online..

The Ghosts are back and ready for more action as Ubi Soft announces the Q3 2003 release of a stand-alone Xbox campaign disk for the award-winning Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon.
