'World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade' - 3 New Screens

World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade is the exciting new expansion to Blizzard's massively multiplayer online role-playing game. It expands the game by tremendous bounds, adding new races, quest, lands, Battlegrounds, professions and items, raising the level cap to 70, and more.

Future 'C-S Source' & 'DoD: Source' Steamy Update #16

Valve's latest Steam Update has a few details on what to expect in the near future. This month, new map releases for both DoD: Source and C-S: Source. For Day of Defeat. We'll also be releasing a completely rebuilt version of the classic map Kalt, which is set in the winter. There has even been some custom rendering work done in the Source engine to make the snow and ice look realistic. For Counter-Strike: Source, a new Militia will be released, reworked and, like the recently released Nuke, it will include HDR. A new Rag Doll Kung Fu demo is now also available.

'Phantasy Star Universe' (PS2/PC) Delayed ... In Japan

No need to get your panties in a bunch just yet. SEGA Japan announced that its PS2/PC adventure needs a little more "quality improvement," and has therefor decided to push the February 16 release date to March 30, 2006. Whether this will have any influence on the European or North American release date is unknown, but since PSU is slated for spring 2006 in those territories anyhow, it seems unlikely.

'Fight Night Round 3' (ALL) Gets Release Date

'Dynasty Warriors 5: Empires' (PS2) - Screens

Dynasty Warriors 5: Empires is Koei's latest title in DW series. The Empires spinoff adds an Empires mode where you have to sign political alliances in order to conquer the Three Kingdoms. Contrary to DW4 Empires the new title not only has you deploy your generals but also command then once on the battlefield. DW5 Empires also adds a coop mode, and is scheduled for release in Japan end of March.

'Volkswagen Golf Racer' Now Called 'GTI Racing' - Screens

GTI Racing, using Techland Xpand Rally engine, is an official racing game about the legendary European Volkswagen Golf series. Metalheart: Replicants Rampage provides a strong sci-fi story with intriguing cyberpunk influences, sophisticated turn-based combat, random quest generator, character parameter system, and plenty of other wonders to make hardcore RPG fans amazed. Dreamcatcher has released a new patch bringing any international version of the game to v1.3 and addressing a few minor tweaks.

'Supreme Ruler 2010' - v4.4.2 Patch Available NOW

Battlegoat has released a new patch for its strategy game Supreme Ruler 2010. This update brings your retail game to v4.4.2 and addresses two new bugs which surfaced after the previous patch. Training now works again, and in Multiplayer startup lobbies, the clients would not get set to the correct map if the host changed the scenario choice after clients joined the lobby.

'Day of Defeat: Source' - Screens & Trailer

Day of Defeat is a World War II multiplayer first-person action game that pits players in Axis vs. Allies battles in Western Europe at the height of the war in 1944, remade using Half-Life 2's Source engine. Players enlist as snipers, infantrymen, machine gunners, riflemen and sergeants, and then hit the frontlines running using authentic weaponry.

'Grandia III' (PS2) - 35 New Screens

'Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory' (Xbox/PC) Downloadable Content Available NOW

Ubisoft has released new downloadable content for the Xbox and PC editions of its stealth action game Splinter Cell Chaos Theory. Two new coop maps available on Xbox Live (UN Headquarters and Nuclear Base), and one new versus map available on Xbox Live and PC (Polar Base). 'Star Wars: Empire at War' Gets Release Date

Control the fate of the galaxy in LucasArts' RTS game Star Wars: Empire at War. Set a few years before the events of Episode IV: A New Hope, the game will let players rewrite history as well as experience the aftermath of Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith, the creation of the Rebel Alliance, and Darth Vader's rise to power. LucasArts has updated the official website reflecting a February 16 release date.

Take 2's Preliminary 2005 Results Reveal Delays and New Titles

Take 2 today announced preliminary net sales of $1.2 billion for its 2005 fiscal year and Q4 net sales of $308 million. The results reveal that College Hoops 2K6 and Top Spin 2 have been pushed back from Q1 to Q2 2006 to provide additional time for development. A few new games were also introduced, including the port of GTA: Liberty City Stories to a current-gen console (most likely the PS2), and two new titles for the PSP, including an all-new GTA offering.
