THQ Investigated by Securities and Exchange Commission

Well this is starting to sound all too familiar. After Take Two and Activision, THQ announced today that it has received an informal inquiry from the SEC requesting certain documents and information relating to the company's stock option grant practices from January 1, 1996 to the present.

Elements of adventure and stealth genres were brought together to create this FPS, based on the popular sci-fi novel Inhabited Island by the Strugatski Brothers. It tells the story of a central character who has been condemned to work on an alien planet for the rest of his life. But he defies this destiny and fights those who imprisoned him.

'Utopia City' - v1.01 Patch Available NOW

Utopia City is set in 2091 where a parallel virtual world, based on the real life town of Postville, begins to take on a life of its own and threatens normal life as it really is. Parallax Arts Studio has released a tiny patch fixing the problem with starting up the game on ATI Radeon 9800 Pro video cards.

Xbox Live Arcade Titles & Schedule Revealed

The latest issue of Official Xbox Magazine has revealed what Microsoft has in store for us on Xbox Live Arcade through September 6, 2006. Konami seems to represent heavily with 3-4 titles, and that does not include the hinted-at Castlevania. On deck are: Texas Hold 'em (Aug. 16), Time Pilot (Aug. 23), Scramble (Aug. 30) and Lumines Live! (Sept 6).
