In addition to bringing the long-running story arc that began with A Realm Reborn to its conclusion, Endwalker marks a new beginning for the MMO, setting the stage for new adventures that longtime fans and new players can enjoy together. The new expansion will bring an abundance of new features, including multiple new jobs, an increased level cap, vast new areas, updates to the battle system, a variety of new challenges to overcome, as well as crafter and gatherer content.

The new Dawntrail expansion sees the Warrior of Light travel to the land of Tural for the first time, bringing with it a wealth of new content. Expect new story, multiple new jobs, sprawling new areas to explore, new allied tribes, new dungeons, new side quests, new Hunts, new Fates, new Treasure Hunts and much more.

The age of adventure has begun.

Square Enix unveiled the highly anticipated job actions trailer for Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail, showcasing every new combat job action that players will be able to utilize in Dawntrail.

The video also includes a showcase of battle actions for viper and pictomancer, two new jobs launching in Dawntrail.

As part of the latest Letter from the Producer LIVE broadcast, Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida also outlined a number of role and job adjustments that will launch with the expansion, including changes to astrologian, monk, ninja, and more.

The expanded Free Trial now includes all content from A Realm Reborn and the Heavensward expansion, as well as an additional playable race (Au Ra), and three additional playable jobs (Dark Knight, Astrologian, and Machinist). Free Trial players can enjoy hundreds of hours of award-winning gameplay and story experiences equivalent to two full Final Fantasy titles, without limit on playtime.

Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail is coming to PC, PS5, PS4 and XBox Series X|S in July 2, 2024.
