'Pax Romana' Ships - Screens

by Thomas on Sept. 25, 2003 @ 8:10 a.m. PDT

Pax Romana features an intelligent and intuitive interface with five real-time game speeds and multiplayer functionality for up to six players. The game's depth and accuracy is unrivalled, with six different political parties and dozens of opponents; a historically accurate reproduction of ancient Rome's political, economical and military structure.

Pax Romana features a huge map with 500 European regions and four levels of zoom. Furthermore, gamers face more than 40 different army units with discipline, morale and experience levels and take part in nearly 150 historical events.

Ultimately the victor is the player who uses their political influence, wealth or military force to become the leader of Rome – and even then only if Rome herself is victorious.

Pax Romana will be published by DreamCatcher Games and distributed by Mindscape in November 2003, price £19.99.
