About Judy

As WP's managing editor, I edit review and preview articles, attempt to keep up with the frantic pace of Rainier's news posts, and keep our reviewers on deadline, which is akin to herding cats. When I have a moment to myself and don't have my nose in a book, I like to play action/RPG, adventure and platforming games.

by Judy on July 22, 2004 @ 9:56 a.m. PDT

"Spy Fiction" follows the exploits of two special agents in an underground spy agency. As members of the elite S.E.A. Phantom strike squad, Bishop and Sheila are dispatched to disable a diabolical plot that begins with an ominous message sent to world governments. To spare millions of lives from a new horrific biotech weapon, they must embark on missions spanning the globe to seek and destroy a shadowy terrorist organization.

"Spy Fiction" delivers a new experience in the action-stealth genre with a host of novel spy gadgets and weapons. The game introduces new elements to stealth, including an optical camouflage suit that allows for limited invisibility and the revolutionary ability to assume the appearance of any character in the game. With all-new gameplay features, an exciting mix of high-action and stealth, action-oriented mini-games and a superbly written, thrilling storyline, "Spy Fiction" promises to create an interactive experience derived from the spy genre's most defining films.

The newly released screenshots highlight some of the game's action oriented mini-games, including rappelling, skydiving, mine clearing and puzzle solving. These mini-games will immerse players in the detailed world of "Spy Fiction" while offering insight into the game's in-depth storyline. With unprecedented gameplay variety, "Spy Fiction" features open-ended levels with multiple paths, a large selection of gadgets and weapons and the dynamic I.D. theft system that gives players complete freedom in accomplishing mission objectives.

"Spy Fiction" is planned for release in September 2004 and is rated M for Mature by the ESRB.
