'Goat Simulator' (ALL) Coming to PS3 & PS4 - Screens

by Rainier on July 15, 2015 @ 9:59 a.m. PDT

You no longer have to fantasize about being a goat, your dreams have finally come true! Goat Simulator is all about causing as much destruction as you possibly can as a goat.

Players will be able to live the dream and cause as much destruction as an actual goat from the comfort of their couch. Live life as a goat and wreck the world around you; add some creativity to your destruction and you’ll rack up even more points! Goat Simulator’s charm comes in part from the bugs that were deliberately left in.

Soon you’ll be able to pick up a controller and take on the world as a goat, racking up points as you destroy the world around you, using your insanely long tongue to drag people and objects to their demise.

Double Eleven have often been asked what’s so special about the PlayStation editions of Goat Simulator, and they felt that they owed it to the PlayStation community to give an appropriate response.

“The PC version took down the best gaming rigs out there with its bugs, crashes and well... sheer resource needed to power the goat simulation technology for just one goat. So the answer is in short that it actually works, and with more than one goat! It may ‘crash’, you may ‘fall out of the world’ but that’s all part of the fun. Thanks to Double Eleven’s collaboration with Lucid Games - we managed to get two goats running at the same time on PlayStation 3 and four goats with the mighty power of the PlayStation 4! That and there is of course, GoatVR!”

The truth is that Coffee Stain and Double Eleven have had GoatVR technology for some time now. Internally, it is heralded as the most authentic “simulated GoatVR experience” of all time. Although it’s not quite ready Double Eleven decided to stay at the bleeting edge in VR land and let it out into the wild, debuting in the PlayStation editions of Goat Simulator. The best part is that it doesn’t require a helmet or anything.
