Warface is an online FPS, a military shooter set in the near future offering a cinematic experience with next gen visuals, AI and physics.

Warface is a fast-paced shooter crammed with cooperative and competitive action, stacks of game modes and a wealth of weapons for players to get their hands on. Gamers can choose to play as Riflemen, Medics, Snipers or Engineers as they work together and attempt to uproot the Blackwood military faction in Co-op play, or choose their side and lock horns with fellow players in versus battles.

Since My.com’s  takeover of publishing operations of Warface in Europe and North America, the number of its registered players has grown to exceed 48 million globally. To thank the dedicated players of Warface, the developers have prepared an entire series of gifts, as well as a special glimpse of the biggest update in the history of the game called ‘Pripyat’.

During these four years, Warface has been installed by players from 179 countries, localized to seven languages and is also available on Steam. The game is constantly updated, and in the course of four years, has received more than 70 updates. As a gift to the fans of Warface, the developers have revealed some exciting details about the upcoming update, the events of which will unfold in the most famous city of the Chernobyl exclusion zone, Pripyat. As part of the Warface faction in co-op play, the players’ sole objective is to loosen Blackwood's global grip and bring liberty to those they oppress.

In the new video, developers have shown what exactly what the evil Blackwood forces are preparing for Warface players in Pripyat, including their facilities and base of operation. This will allow players to hone their skills of teamwork, strategy and tactics in preparation of the updates release.

To mark four glorious years of Warface and to show the team’s appreciation for its players, Warface is also throwing a celebration party with amazing gifts and rewards:

  • Every player gets four gift cards, one for each day Warface celebrates its anniversary. A player can get a wide range of prizes, including the prominent Black Hawk axe.
  • From Oct. 19 – 22, players are able to obtain a golden random box every day for accumulating 100 kills in any game mode. The boxes may yield various useful items and even permanent weapons. Only one box can be obtained per day.
  • Everyone will receive special anniversary skins every day that they log in: custom fourth anniversary skins for their Fazil UE3, AP-84 Custom, Anatolia RK-102, S60B3 and Abada 266 mm.
  • Don’t forget about the Mega VIP booster to top it all up on Oct. 22.

And last, but not the least. From Oct. 19 - 22, every player will receive a 400% bonus to all their gains including Warface dollars, Crown Points, XP, and VP.

Set in the most renown city of the Chernobyl exclusion zone, “Pripyat” will mark a new milestone in the franchise featuring a rich narrative and new gameplay mechanics for players to discover later this year.

The special operation will be a new large-scale mission, which transports players to the actual site of the Chernobyl disaster. Currently being developed for a late 2017 release, this update is slated to be one of the most ambitious missions that the game has seen to date in both its plot and graphic realism.

Pripyat’s atmospheric setting is sure to make an impression on players, especially fans of post-apocalyptic settings. To ensure the recreation of the authentic environment, developer Crytek visited the exclusion zone several times and studied the terrain allowing them to accurately capture the frightening atmosphere of this tragic place.

In addition to new plot points, “Pripyat” will include an entirely new set of enemies and bosses with uniquely refined combat styles for players to face off against, forcing them to hone their skills and teamwork.
