'Fortnite' (ALL) Summer Block Party Ticket Pre-Registration

by Rainier on May 10, 2019 @ 10:14 a.m. PDT

Fortnite is an expansive original world that invites players to be creative, resourceful and collaborative, combining building skills and destructible environments with intense PvP combat.

In Fortnite, players and their friends lead a group of Heroes to reclaim and rebuild a homeland that has been left empty by a mysterious darkness only known as “the Storm.”

Players will band together online to explore the world for resources, build extravagant forts, find or build insane weapons and traps as they protect their towns from the strange monsters that emerge during the Storm.

Fortnite Battle Royale is the FREE 100-player PvP mode in Fortnite. One giant map. A battle bus.

The last one standing wins.

Epic Games will host the Fortnite Summer Block Party, a two-day event celebrating the Fortnite community featuring top creators and celebrities like Ninja, Brendon Urie of Panic! At The Disco, Dillon Francis, KittyPlays, Cray and Jordan Fisher, and will take place at The Forum in Inglewood, CA. Verified fan registration begins today at 10am ET.

On June 15, fans can watch celebrities, YouTubers and their favorite streamers battle it out in the first-ever Creative tournament. Teams will fight for fame on a new player-made game designed specifically for this event. On June 16, the Celebrity Pro-Am will return for its second year. Fans will find out which team will take home the Victory Royale.

Tickets to attend the Summer Block Party will start at $35, giving fans access to both days of activities including the Fortnite Fan Festival. Attendees will have the chance to meet more than 20 characters including Peely, Fishstick and Brite Bomber; glide on the island’s trademark ziplines; visit attractions such as the Pirate Ship and Fortnite Mini Golf; explore in-game eateries Durr Burger, Pizza Pete’s, Sofdeez Ice Cream Shop and more.

Endeavor, a global leader in sports, entertainment and fashion with a portfolio of companies including WME, IMG, and UFC, is overseeing operations and logistics for the event in addition to the Fortnite World Cup in July, another first-of-its-kind fan experience.

“As gaming solidifies its position as one of the fastest-growing consumer trends globally, we are excited to work with Epic Games to provide Fortnite’s 250 million-player fan base the opportunity to get even closer to the action,” said Stuart Saw, SVP of eSports, Endeavor. “The Summer Block Party will demonstrate the collective power of the Fortnite community and the strength of the brand, building on the success of last year’s record-breaking Pro-Am Charity Tournament.”

Verified fan registration is open now and will close on Monday, May 13 at 10pm PT.  To pre-register, fans should visit Fortnite’s Ticketmaster Verified Fan website, enter their information and when tickets go on-sale they will be among the first to be notified. Fortnite partnered with Ticketmaster and its Verified Fan program to help remove scalpers and bots from the ticketing process to better ensure tickets get directly into the hands of fans.

Battlepass pre-sale tickets will go on-sale for Fortnite fans on Saturday, May 11 at 10am PT, and be available until Monday, May 13 at 10pm PT. Verified Fan presale will run from Wednesday, May 15 at 10am PT through Thursday, May 16 at 10pm PT, and general public on-sale will begin Friday, May 17th at 10am PT.
