Combining over 10 years of experience, building upon the strength of its predecessors, and set in the most detailed environment of the series to date, Arma 3 offers gamers radical engine improvements and a unique sandbox-style military gameplay experience.

Arma III is an authentic military shooter game, in which you enter a massive military sandbox terrain to engage in diverse tactical combat. Players have access to a wide variety of gear and weapons - and are able to operate all sorts of military vehicles such as tanks, helicopters, and jets. The game also offers a large number of singleplayer scenarios (including a story-driven campaign) and multiplayer modes. Plus, there's a powerful yet intuitive 3D Scenario Editor for users to create their own scenarios, as well as the Arma 3 Zeus interface that lets users act as a real-time Game Master for other players in multiplayer.

SURVIVE in the rich & authentic environment
ADAPT to the unsurpassed experience of modern ground combat
WIN in the open-ended & story-driven campaign

After years of intense warfare against Eastern armies, Europe has become the last stand for the battered NATO forces. On the verge of being driven into the sea, NATO command embarks upon a most desperate measure. In the hope of seizing what seems to be a well-guarded military secret, Operation Magnitude is launched. A small group of Special Forces and Researchers are sent to a Mediterranean island deep behind enemy lines. However, the mission is compromised and the task force destroyed, leaving Cpt. Scott Miller washed ashore upon the hostile island. In his effort to carry out the mission, he will face the dangers of modern warfare, an unforgiving environment, and the consequences of his own decisions...

Bohemia Interactive is excited to announce a Free Week for Arma III on Steam, starting today January 14th (10 AM PST), and ending on Sunday, January 19th (10 AM PST).

To continue playing Arma III after the free week ends, gamers can take advantage of a massive 70% discount on the Arma III base game, and/or save up to 66% on Arma III DLC packs and expansions until January 20th. Those wanting to secure the complete Arma III collection can buy Arma III Ultimate Edition, including Apex and Contact, with an additional 15% bundle discount on top of the price cuts that are live during the free week.

Apex introduces new weapons, vehicles, gear, and operations alongside a brand new warzone, the South Pacific archipelago of Tanoa. Contact adds new weapons of war as well but also blends the incredibly immersive Arma III military sim experience with a sci-fi single-player campaign where a military training operation unravels into an encounter with extraterrestrial intelligence, all set across new terrain and with fresh gameplay experiences.

During the Free Week, all Steam users will have free access to the Arma III base game plus the Arma III Apex expansion. This also includes Arma III's full "The East Wind" single-player campaign and the "Apex Protocol" co-op campaign. New players might also familiarize themselves with the game's controls via the "Prologue" tutorial campaign.

Arma III fully supports all types of player-created content and modifications, which can be easily shared with other players via the Arma 3 Steam Workshop. The Workshop already hosts 50,000+ publicly shared items, ranging from weapons, vehicles, and uniforms to new gameplay features, singleplayer or co-op campaigns, and community-made multiplayer modes such as the original PlayerUnknown's Battle Royale.

Since the initial release of the Alpha version on Steam Early Access in 2013, Arma III has come a long way by introducing lots of additional content, new features, and improvements. The game has received 75 free platform updates and 10 DLC packs, which have helped to achieve an impressive average playtime per Arma 3 user of 150+ hours. In a new infographic poster, Bohemia Interactive provides a quick overview of Arma 3's development and how people have engaged with the game so far.
