'Dark Fairy Tales: The Boogeyman' Announced, Launches Kickstarter Campaign - Screens & Trailer

by Rainier on Nov. 17, 2020 @ 1:06 a.m. PST

Dark Fairy Tales: The Boogeyman is an asymmetrical multiplayer (4vs1) survival horror game where one player takes on the role of the Boogeyman, and the others play as characters trying to avoid being captured and killed.

Different from the DeadbyDaylight and Friday 13th, Dark Fairy Tales: The Boogeyman allows survivors to fight back the killer (even kill him).

Search for weapons and equipment to protect yourself from the killer or utilize your hunting skills to stalk and kill the survivors.

Since ancient times, the Boogeyman has been known across cultures to punish children for misbehaving. Now, the Boogeyman has returned and four survivors have caught the monster's interest.

The story takes place in a small Northern European town. Four friends - William, Tyler, Sandra, and Laura - are at William's house looking for something fun to do. William decides to take his father's car (without him knowing) and drives the group to his grandfather's abandoned farm in the countryside. While exploring the farm, they come across an Ouija board.

Density Games Team is currently running a kickstarter campaign for Dark Fairy Tales: The Boogeyman, looking to raise $200,032.

As night falls, the four set up the Ouija board, unbeknownst to what they’re about to start. As soon as they ask their first question, a black mist slowly pours from the board, extinguishing the light in the room...

Knock knock, the Boogeyman is at your door...

Besides just running around and fixing machines, survivors can do more! Yes, the survivors start out defenseless, but by finding tools and weapons throughout the map, the life of the survivors becomes a little easier.

The player and each character have their unique ways of leveling up. More details of the progressive play will come soon!
