'Swords Of Legends Online' Shows Off Upcoming Guild-versus-Guild And PvP Modes - Trailer

by Rainier on Nov. 15, 2021 @ 12:50 p.m. PST

Swords Of Legends Online is an MMORPG with a rich, tumultuous story, steeped in poetic Chinese lore, testing your might in thrilling action combat as you become embroiled in a struggle between light and darkness.

Based on popular Chinese legends that inspired a multi-award-winning television series, several movies, novels, and a phenomenally successful franchise of games -- including the most recent MMORPG Gujian Qitan Online -- Swords of Legends Online introduces a fully remastered version of the highly-anticipated saga to new audiences.

Swords of Legends Online explores an eons-long clash between the forces of light and darkness. Only those chosen by the spirit of the legendary sword buried deep within themselves may unlock the powers necessary to banish the fog of evil, death, and destruction that threaten to consume this tempestuous world. Players will become absorbed in the deep, vivid visuals and narrative as they hone their combat skills, form alliances, defeat fearsome enemies and bosses that spawn throughout the dangerous dungeons and world maps, enemy factions, and even the gods themselves.

Players may choose from up to six playable classes, each with their own unique skills, weapons, armor, and specializations. These heroes can take to the skies on flying mounts to visit their own, customizable islands, and engage in thrilling quests, multiplayer dungeons, 20-player raids, and an abundance of PVP modes.

Soon, players throughout North and Latin America and Europe will be able to explore the game’s rich, tumultuous story, steeped in poetic Chinese lore, and test their might in thrilling action combat as they become embroiled in the struggles between light and darkness.

After a stream of consistent weekly updates, including new raid difficulties and seasonal events, Swords of Legends Online is about to receive its first major content drop later this month with the release of the Update 1.1: The Forbidden Court on November 18, 2021.

To get players ready for the November 18 release of update 1.1: The Forbidden Court, Gameforge today reveals details about the two thrilling new PvP modes, which includes a new Guild-versus-Guild zone. Battle in the Sands and the Fifty Islands of Chuyun will significantly enhance the way in which players can cooperate and battle one another in the game. In the intensity of battle and bloodshed, bonds will be strengthened, and warriors will become legends!

Battle in the Sands
In Battle in the Sands, 20 players compete across two-stage matches. The first stage is a five-minute free-for-all, where players can rack up points by slaying other warriors. At certain points in the battle, a monster stone will spawn. Picking it up will turn a player into a monster in the second stage of the match.

After the first five minutes are up, the players will be split into two teams of 10, each with a monster in their group—if no one on a team picked up the monster stone, the player with the highest score in the previous stage will become the monster. In order to win the match, the teams of 10 must now race to be the first to pick up three healing runes or have the most healing runes after 10 minutes. Runes change their location on the map every minute.
The Fifty Islands of Chuyun

The floating islands of Chuyun were created when Duke Dongyuan’s artifact was broken. Join other players from your alliance to track down numerous celestial and terrestrial treasures and defeat your opponents. This map can be entered during the week to gather materials required for the alliances to participate in the GvG battles, in which major sieges and hellish warfare are the order of the day.

The weekly registration needs to be completed by the leader of a guild (known in SOLO as “alliances”) within a certain period of time to secure their place in the weekend wars. Lead your noble alliance to victory as you dominate your opponents in three gripping phases. In the Fifty Islands of Chuyun, you first collect materials that you will need for subsequent siege battles against your opponents. The goal of the attackers is to conquer the defenders’ stronghold and defeat the five rune spirits and ultimately destroy the soul source core, which the defenders must protect at all costs. After the battle, the ownership of each island is determined, and rewards are distributed. Fight bravely to secure exclusive mounts, titles, and accessories!
Improved Class Balancing
The new update also brings class balancing improvements to the game. You’ve been waiting for these adjustments, especially with an eye to PvP, and now here they come! Learn about all the extensive changes in the latest patch notes found on the official Swords of Legends Online website.
Coming Soon to SOLO: Even More PvP
You can also look forward to a new PvP season in Swords of Legends Online. This will begin shortly after the launch of The Forbidden Court, and you’ll be able to continue climbing the ranks and earning awesome rewards!
