'King Of Seas' (ALL) Publishing Picked Up By Team17, Gets Delayed A Few Month

King of Seas is an Action Role playing game set in a deadly procedurally generated pirate world.

Unfold your sails, raise your anchor and prepare to set sail on a deadly adventure set in the golden age of pirates.

King Of Seas immerses you in a time of pirates, ferocious sea battles, hidden treasure and lost islands, all set in a stunning procedurally generated game world. Embark on an epic journey to avenge the death of your father, navigating through unknown waters and waging battle with other ships as you stake your claim to become the king of all pirates.  

King Of Seas’ dynamic game world will react to your every action forcing you to evaluate your strategy at every turn and adapt to the new challenges facing you. Naval routes might change meaning you will need to look for new ways to conquer settlements or adverse weather conditions might require new, more dangerous routes to be navigated when heading to islands to trade goods or upgrade your ships. Engage with an intriguing cast of characters who may steer you towards hidden treasures or lead you into deadly traps as other pirates look to plunder your gold. One thing is for certain, there are adventures to be had and battles to fight as you shape your empire on the high seas. 

Developer 3DClouds and publiosher Team17 are thrilled to announce a new publishing deal for pirate-themed action RPG, King of Seas.

Originally planned to launch on February 18, 2021, King of Seas  has been delayed until May 2021.

The publishing deal between 3D Clouds and Team17 will provide additional resources for the team to work on enhancing the gameplay quality as well as implement further languages into the game, including German, French, Spanish, and both Simplified and Traditional Chinese, ensuring the final game delivers the best gaming experience for the players.

Fans can now start to pre-order this swashbuckling adventure on their preferred platform from the official store pages - PC via Steam and Microsoft Store with the Nintendo eShop and PlayStation Store following soon.

  • Special Missions: Extra rewards await you upon completion of these secondary missions, each settlement you conquer will be the source of new adventures!
  • Treasure hunt: Secret maps are hidden in the abyssal depths, find them and obtain directions to submerged treasures!
  • Trading: Each settlement produces specific products with their own market value. Buy them at the lowest price possible and sell them to other settlements where they are in demand. Buy low, sell high, this is the basis of trade!
  • Fishing: Find as many as 30 varieties of fish living below the ocean surface. Fish them all but be careful to observe the time of day and weather conditions...
  • Ranking: Every battle won will drive up the bounty on your head, compare it with the most famous pirates of history. Be the King of Seas!
  • Multiple difficulties: The difficulty level adds a substantial multiplier to the bounty obtained in the game. How much will you be able to generate in hardcore mode?
