Escape Academy invites players to follow in the footsteps of extraordinary Escapists, puzzling their way through a variety of team-based, exploration and time-pressure challenges, created specifically to bring the mystery, intrigue and fun of brick-and-mortar escape rooms into players’ homes.

Set in a secret world, players find themselves swept up by the mysteries of Escape Academy, a training ground for individuals with roguish skills suited to the “art of escape.” These new recruits must puzzle their way through deadly challenges set forth by zany and charismatic professors to secure their place among the legendary “Escapists.” Filled with shocking twists and turns, players will navigate through high stakes escape rooms, ultimately uncovering a threat they could have never imagined.

Coin Crew Games, co-founded by Wyatt Bushnell and Mike Mohammed Salyh, has deep roots in designing real-world experiences that blend immersive gameplay with a keen focus on group interaction. Bushnell has built attractions for amusement parks and arcades including the tech-infused Two Bit Circus, which features massive escape rooms, and Salyh has designed games for Disney, Zynga and Two Bit Circus. Once Wyatt and Mike met, they subsequently became business partners after they were contracted to create an IRL escape room experience together.

Dust off your thinking caps! Coin Crew Games, together with iam8bit and Skybound Games, invite you to return to Escape Academy in Escape From Anti-Escape Island, the first (of many) DLC, bringing new puzzles and a sinister new storyline to the series.

In just four months, Escape Academy has seen more than one million players since the game launched on PlayStation, Xbox and PC. The development team at Coin Crew Games plans to continue supporting Escape Academy with a free major content update in early 2023 as well as a second DLC pack in the Spring that’ll be available at no additional cost for Season Pass owners.

After surviving your first year at Escape Academy, it’s time to relax with a well-earned summer vacation. But when the Escape Jet is shot down over an uncharted island, relaxation turns to mayhem as you solve 5 brand-new escape-room levels and embark on an exciting new narrative in Escape Academy: Escape From Anti-Escape Island. And, as a bonus, it's accompanied by more original music from doseone!

Escape Academy: Escape From Anti-Escape Island will launch on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, and PC on November 10, 2022. The DLC will be included in the Escape Academy Season Pass, and players that don’t own the Season Pass will be able to purchase the content separately.

Escape Academy is coming to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and PC (Steam / Epic Games Store) in June 2022, and will be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch.
