'S.O.O.T.' Is A Space Strategy Simulation Game Coming To PC And Consoles This Summer - Trailer

by Rainier on Feb. 8, 2022 @ 2:01 p.m. PST

In S.O.O.T. we take control of the scientist who learns, through a simulation and strategy game, everything necessary about terraforming.

The world has lost its balance and a great danger looms humanity with the impending destruction of a cataclysmic event. The only hope resides in the technology to terraform the planet and reinstate the right conditions to avoid the tragedy.

Mysticism and superstition pervade everything but brave scientist Laura McKenzie is determined to save her world thanks to technology and an ancient manuscript.

Follow the steps of Captain Christopher Mason and Lieutenant Ferdinand McCann as they (and you) master the craft of terraforming. In SOOT you will find a delicate system where every new structure you build changes the balance of the planet's atmosphere.

The story is full of emotion and secrets about our world and nature facing a looming disaster.

Key Features:

  • Thought-provoking gameplay that promotes problem-solving with a complex simulation system.
  • A level-based progression that challenges the player throughout the story.
  • The engaging narrative is presented through gameplay and interactive comics.
  • A stylized vision of the science fiction genre with a Steampunk aesthetic full of details.
  • An intelligent reflection on how humanity influences the environment through technology.

S.O.O.T. is coming to PC (playable demo available here) and consoles in Summer 2022.
