by Rainier on March 24, 2022 @ 8:44 a.m. PDT

Highrise City is a city builder and a economy simulation at once.

Highrise Cityis the next evolution of City Simulations.

Experience a modern take on the genre enriched with a complex resource based economy system. Highrise City combines two genres in new and interesting ways: City Builders and traditional Economy & Resource Management Simulations. Highrise City offers you challenging gameplay and gives you all the possibilites and tools you need to create a living and breathing city. Take care of your city and make it grow and flourish into a giant Metropolis!

In Highrise City you do not only build a city, you also actively manage it by handling the economical supply for it. Organize and build resource-routes in an efficient way and make sure your economy is well balanced to guarantee a steady growth. By doing so you will be able to create megacities like you've never seen in a game before.

Highrise City is now available through Early Access for $24.99 on Steam and GOG.

Originally planned with two maps for players to explore, now three will be in the initial Early Access Release: New York, Capetown and Rio.

In addition to that, the traffic system has also been reworked: Instead of randomly generated traffic, all citizens will now travel from their home to their work and back.

An editor for interested players will be among the first updates during Early Access. In terms of development transparency, a roadmap is available and updated frequently.

Players who are still unsure if Highrise City fits their needs will be able to try a free demo which will release on Monday, March 21st.

The official Soundtrack, created by Gerrit Wolf, is also available for $9.99.
