'Fortnite' Adding May's Crew Pack And Street Fighter’s Blanka & Sakura This Week

by Rainier on April 27, 2022 @ 10:37 a.m. PDT

Fortnite is an expansive original world that invites players to be creative, resourceful and collaborative, combining building skills and destructible environments with intense PvP combat.

In Fortnite, players and their friends lead a group of Heroes to reclaim and rebuild a homeland that has been left empty by a mysterious darkness only known as “the Storm.”

Players will band together online to explore the world for resources, build extravagant forts, find or build insane weapons and traps as they protect their towns from the strange monsters that emerge during the Storm.

Fortnite Battle Royale is the FREE 100-player PvP mode in Fortnite. One giant map. A battle bus.

The last one standing wins.

Epic Games revealed May’s Fortnite Crew Pack.

Everyone loves an underdog.

Starting from the bottom, Southpaw is punching above her weight in the May 2022 Crew Pack. Watch as she works her way to the top of the league! The May Crew Pack goes live for active Fortnite Crew subscribers at approximately 8 PM ET on April 30, 2022.

May Crew Pack: You Haven’t Seen All of Southpaw

Southpaw’s in it for the distance. Even though the May Crew Pack includes the Southpaw Outfit, Counterpunch Back Bling, and Arc Flail Pickaxe, there’s something else up her arm suit sleeve. Over the course of the month, May 2022 Crew Pack owners will receive Loading Screen bonuses chronicling her rise, a Lobby Track bonus, and more!

More Fortnite Crew Benefits: Season 2 Battle Pass, Monthly V-Bucks, and the April Crew Pack!

Chapter 3 Season 2 Battle Pass

One component of Fortnite Crew is instant access to the current Season’s Battle Pass. This means that active subscribers during the present Chapter 3 Season 2 automatically get its Battle Pass! If you had already bought the Chapter 3 Season 2 Battle Pass before subscribing during the Season, a one-time 950 V-Bucks return will be applied to your account.

1,000 V-Bucks Every Month

Active Fortnite Crew subscribers receive 1,000 V-Bucks every month! These V-Bucks are received on the day of subscribers’ billing date*. Signed up on April 27, 2022? You’ll be granted 1,000 V-Bucks upon sign-up, then while subscribed, 1,000 V-Bucks on May 27, 2022, on June 27, 2022, and so on.

Remember: Because you receive these V-Bucks on the day of your billing date, they aren’t attached to when you receive the monthly Crew Pack.

April Crew Pack: Sayara’s Still Watching

Never stop staying sharp. Even with a hood and mask, Sayara’s senses are unhindered in the April Crew Pack. Keeping watch on the Sayara Outfit but haven’t added it to your collection? No need to worry — the April Crew Pack is available until April 30 at 7:59 PM ET (right before players begin to receive May’s Crew Pack).

In addition to the Sayara Outfit, the April Crew Pack contains the sharp (in a different way) Fangs of Sayara Back Bling, the sharply swinging Dual Machettas Pickaxe, and the Sayara-resembling Sayara Sights Wrap.

Important: To claim the May Crew Pack, you may need to log in from your original purchasing platform if it has been more than 30 days since your last login from that platform.

To celebrate 35 years of Street Fighter, World Warriors Blanka and Sakura are dropping into the Fortnite Island on April 28 at 8 PM ET!

Today’s training regimen: 100 laps around Sanctuary, 500 sprints, 500 mantles.

Taking a break from the crane game, World Warriors Blanka and Sakura are soon reaching for victory on the Fortnite Island! To celebrate 35 years of Street Fighter, you’ll be able to grab their Outfits and accessories in the Item Shop later this week (starting Thursday, April 28, at 8 PM ET). Also, show off your strength in the Blanka & Sakura Cup for a chance to earn a special Loading Screen.

Blanka - Make Mama Proud

Seeing him in action is no joke. Unleash the beast with the Blanka Outfit, which comes with the Blanka Delgado alt Style inspired by Rival Schools’ Boman Delgado. Celebrating a K.O. elimination? Break out the Outfit’s built-in Blanka Backflip Emote

Included with the Blanka Outfit is the Blanka-Chan Back Bling. Don’t step on it — the more eliminations you get in a match, the more electrified it gets. And the preferred snack of electrified warriors everywhere, the Tropical Hazard Kebab Pickaxe will also be available.

Sakura - Justice Always Prevails

After Ryu set foot on the Island, it was only a matter of time before Sakura followed. Prove you’re as strong as Ryu with the Sakura Outfit, which comes with the Sakura Gym alt Style inspired by one of her Street Fighter IV alts. Already sure of your victory? Activate the Outfit’s built-in Sakura's Victory Sway Emote.

A reminder of home, the Sakura Outfit includes the Hanakaze Claw Back Bling. For those extra confident of their victory, flaunt the Fighting Tournament Trophy Pickaxe. Additionally, keep the pests away with the Kayari Buta Glider.
