Archdemon Balor has opened the Gate of Hell into the human realm and hordes of demons and monsters have flooded into man’s world-destroying everything in their path. You must protect those who are still alive and ultimately destroy Balor to close the Gate. Your quest will take you across the continent of Eridun into dark crypts, demon-infested wilds, and demonic rifts in the fabric of the world. It will be full of deadly traps, ambushes, and puzzles. The diabolic foes in your way will test your combat skills and newly found arcane powers.

Developer Game Artists has launched The Dark Heart of Balor on Steam Early Access, where it will stay up to an additional year or more.

“Early Access version features a large set of levels that make up Act 1. It is several hours of gameplay, fully dressed up environment, a large variety of enemies, bosses, multiple magic spells and skills. Some combats, enemies, and magic abilities might feel a little bit off balance and/or need more polishing. Everything is playable and thoroughly tested to ensure a smooth gameplay.”

“The final release of the game will feature more game levels, better refined combat scenarios, general visual and gameplay improvements. Some content featured in early access might also get extra polishing and additional features.”
