First Class Trouble, Divine Knockout And Gamedec Free On Epic Games Store, Epistory - Typing Chronicles Next Week

by Rainier on Jan. 12, 2023 @ 8:29 a.m. PST

For the next week, the Epic Games Store is offering three titles for free: First Class Trouble, Divine Knockout and Gamedec.

First Class Trouble

First Class Trouble is a party game where players must work together and against each other to survive a disaster. The goal is to shut down a deadly A.I. of a luxury space cruise ship. Some players are impostors, secretly playing as human-looking killer robots intent on betraying the other players.

Players take the role of passengers on the ISS Alithea in this multiplayer social deception game from developer Invisible Walls. The cruise ship’s central artificial intelligence network, C.A.I.N., has gone rogue and is sucking all the oxygen out of the ship. Passengers must use proximity chat to cooperate on objectives in order to reach C.A.I.N. and win the game.

Among the passengers are Personoids, the human-looking robotic servants of the ship, who are taking their revenge upon the passengers. The Personoids must deceive the passengers and either eliminate them all or keep hidden until the very end to win.
To survive you will have to deceive your friends, or be deceived...

Once First Class Trouble, Divine Knockout and Gamedec, the current free games on the Epic Games Store, have run their course, it will be up to Epistory - Typing Chronicles, which will be gratis starting January 19 until January 26, 2023.

Epistory - Typing Chronicles

Epistory immerses you in an atmospheric game where you play a girl riding a giant fox who fights an insectile corruption from an origami world. As you progress and explore this world, the story literally unfolds and the mysteries of the magic power of the words are revealed.

In Epistory you play the muse, a fictional character in a world where everything is untold. Your adventure begins on a blank page, but the world will soon become larger and livelier as you gather inspiration, solve its mysteries and defeat its enemies. From movement to opening chests and fighting in epic battles, every element in the game is controlled exclusively with the keyboard.

As you progress and explore the fantasy origami world, the story literally unfolds in the writer’s mind and the mysteries of the magic power of the words are revealed.

Divine Knockout

KO the gods in the world’s only 3rd-person platform fighter! Become a small-but-mighty god of myth, brawl in all three dimensions, and knock your friends off the map to reign supreme.

Damage enemies to make them vulnerable, then knock them out of the arena with a mighty blow! Enjoy combat inspired by 2D platform fighters, but brought into a unique third-person perspective.

Gamedec

Gamedec is a single-player cyberpunk isometric RPG. You are a game detective, who solves crimes inside virtual worlds. Use your wits to gather info from your witnesses and suspects, getting to the bottom of deceptive schemes. You are the sum of your choices.

Welcome to Warsaw City of the 22nd century. The Tech of the future is so advanced that the term "real" is relative and "life" and "death" have many meanings. Virtual worlds give rise to problems of the human nature: lust, sloth, envy, and pride. The residents of these virtual game-worlds need specialists – Gamedecs - Private Investigators with experience in those worlds who work to discover the secrets and explores mechanics hidden in those realities for the commission of your clients. You are one of them. You are a Gamedec.

Gamedec emulates the nature of tabletop RPGs by focusing on character development through decision making. Gather aspects and craft your unique set of professions that will allow you to lead investigations in a way that feet your style. Discover extraordinary relationships between the virtual worlds and their inhabitants thanks to the gathered information in the codex.
Like in classic tabletop RPGs, you’re given the freedom to approach situations from multiple angles rather than forcing a single solution – the choice is yours and yours alone.
