Over 150 publishers are taking part in one of the largest independent sales on Steam, involving over 750 games, bundles and DLC items.

The initiative, East Meets West, has been led by Curve Games and takes place between the 16th and 23rd of January.

Publishers in Europe and North America, including Meta, Frontier Developments, 505 Games, Team17 and Curve Games have collaborated with publishers in Taiwan, South Korea, Japan and China - such as Tencent, NetEase and XD - to create cross-publisher bundles as well as offering individual titles.

“We’ve seen a huge amount of creative collaboration within the publishing community to help put together this incredible offer to players. It’s a New Year present to players from the global gaming industry, and we’re delighted to be able to play a part in pulling it together,” commented John Clark, CEO of Curve Games.

“Video games have always been a great way to bring people together from different backgrounds, and this event provides such an innovative platform for players to explore unfamiliar worlds,” commented Dash Huang, CEO of XD.

Some of the notable titles for the East Meets West sale include Sifu from Sloclap, Death Stranding, Assetto Corsa and Ghost Runner from 505 Games, Mutant: Year Zero from Funcom, F1 Manager and Elite Dangerous from Frontier Developments, Naraka: Bladepoint from NetEase Games, Sands of Salzaar from XD, Dyson Sphere Program from Gamera Games, Tale of Immortal from Lightning Games, and Unheard from Tencent’s NExT Studios.
