Clive 'N' Wrench is a 3D platformer centered around Clive, a rabbit, and Wrench, the literal monkey on his back.

Clive ‘N’ Wrench is a crafted 3D platforming paradise full of challenges, collectables, and charismatic characters. Starring Clive the rabbit and best friend Wrench, the monkey on his back, players will jump, roll, hover, and spin their way through time and space in a magical 1950’s refrigerator, on a heroic quest to thwart the tyrannical Dr Daucus.

Players will adventure through the prehistoric ice age in Iceceratops, to ancient Egypt in Tempus Tombs, and even across the Wild West in 11 distinct levels each with its own boss battles with varying difficulties. Clive ‘N’ Wrench has been tailored for both experienced players and newcomers alike.

Inspired by genre classics like Spyro the Dragon and Jak & Daxter, Clive ‘N’ Wrench has its titular rabbit and monkey duo jump, roll, hover, and spin their way through a whole host of wacky worlds.

Clive 'N' Wrench have a diverse and tight moveset, tailored for both experienced players and beginners alike. Personally, I think the single most important part of a 3D platformer in this vein is control, as such a huge amount of time and effort has been put into both the feel as well as the animation of each move.

Clive 'N' Wrench also features a colorful cast of characters, both from the modern day and throughout time!

The above 8-minute-long video preview aims to answer questions around how the game functions, it's plot, the duos move set, the collectables you'll be chasing and the worlds you'll explore.

January 2023 kicked off Chinese New Year with the 'Year of the Rabbit' so its a fitting time to reveal an extended look at 'Hare Today Gong Tomorrow' one of the later worlds Clive 'N' Wrench visit during their adventure through space and time.

  • Explore Ancient China, traverse the great wall and scale the temple.
  • Venture underwater and drain toxic elixir in crystal caverns.
  • Take on a number of timed challenges in a race to Ancient Stones!
  • Take on Arnis Mantis, the game’s biggest and meanest boss encounter.

Clive ‘N’ Wrench will also launch with physical standard & collectors Editions on Friday 24th February 2023 (Europe) and Tuesday 28th February 2023. (US/CAN)

Key Features:

  • A Time-Bending Tale – Your adventure will take your all the way from the prehistoric ice age in Iceceratops, through ancient Egypt in Tempus Tombs, and even all the way through to the Wild West
  • Space-Defying Locations! – Explore 11 distinct levels each with its own boss battle. Brilliantly crafted platforming paradises full of challenges, collectables and charismatic characters.

  • A Work of Passion! – A project from sole developer Rob Wass started in 2011, Clive ‘N’ Wrench is a real work of passion from a genuine fan of the genre

Clive ‘N’ Wrench began its journey back in 2011 by sole developer and superfan, Rob Wass. Off the back of designing maps for Epic Games’ Unreal Tournament and creating entire towns in Rockstar’s early 3D GTA’s (III, Vice City and San Andreas), Rob has used his industry knowledge and love for 3D platformers to shape the look, feel and animation of each move in the game’s diverse skill set.

Clive 'N' Wrench is coming to PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam) in February 24, 2023.
