Transport Fever 2 is a tycoon simulation/management game that gives you more than 150 years of real-world transportation technology and history to design and master your own transportation empire.

Experience the greatest logistical challenges from 1850 to today across three unique story campaigns featuring voiceovers and cutscenes, new dynamic environments, and let your creativity run wild through giant sandbox maps in free play mode

As a transport tycoon, you’ll build critical infrastructure like railroads and stations, purchase vehicles, and manage a network of land, sea and air routes to optimize your company’s profits. Create and customize to your heart’s desire in free game mode’s giant sandbox maps, or challenge yourself with three distinct historical campaigns featuring unique missions, stories and goals. Choose from over 200 realistically modelled vehicles from Europe, America and Asia, including trains, buses, streetcars, trucks, aircraft and ships, plus modular stations, airports and harbours.

Invent your own strategy for success with a fleet of realistically modeled trains, trams, aircraft, ships, buses and trucks from around the world, as well as modular, upgradeable stations, ports and harbors. Your booming empire comes to life in beautiful detail with easy-to-use railroad track construction tools, plus dynamically evolving economy, environment, town and traffic simulation systems.

You can even create and share your own worlds, missions, landscapes, vehicles and more with the in-game map editor and extensive modding tools and support via Steam Workshop. Build a diverse empire by utilising the game’s new ecosystem options which allows users to choose from distinct natural environments, each rendered in exquisite graphical detail.

NACON and Urban Games are pleased to release the first gameplay video with commentary for the game Transport Fever 2: Console Edition.

With commentary by Nihat Isik, a developer at Urban Games, this gameplay video looks at some of the mechanics you will use to develop your empire using a fictional tropical island in the 1970s as an example.

The prosperity of your transport enterprise is closely linked to the growth of surrounding towns. The more the towns expand and become interconnected, the more your business needs to handle a growing number of users and goods, which increases revenues. To achieve this, you can diversify your transport offering by rolling out a variety of services: bus, rail, air, sea, etc. This will make it easier to serve new areas within the same city and connect it to other urban areas. You can also increase the frequency and capacity of your transportation, modernise lines and add improvements to help traffic circulation.
