Vampire Survivors is getting a couch co-op update for up to 4 players on 17th August!
The newly announced Nintendo Switch version of the vampire-less vampire game will also be launching on the same day!
The couch co-op mode will come in a free update on 17th August and let you play the whole Vampire Survivors saga with up to 4 players in local couch co-op on PC, Steam Deck, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and mobile (one controller per player required).

In co-op mode, you can either continue your current game or start a new adventure with friends to face the hordes of the undead. Players can seamlessly switch between single and co-op play between stages and unleash chaos. Like every good co-op game, Vampire Survivors will also offer opportunities to test your friendship and stretch the definition of the word “co-op”.
When the co-op update lands, it will allow local couch co-op for up to 4 players but does not support online play. That being said, there are online gaming solutions like Steam Remote Play Together that work with every game, so you will be able to play online with those workarounds of course.
The Nintendo Switch version of Vampire Survivors will launch on 17th August for $4,99/€4,99/£3,99 with all the latest updates (including the 4 player couch co-op update) of the indie mega hit, as well as DLCs Legacy of the Moonspell and Tides of the Foscari available for purchase for for $1,99/€1,99/£1,59 each.
