Put on a Proton Pack, grab a Ghost Trap, and monitor the trusty PKE Meter as a Ghostbuster in a team of four brave souls pursuing ghastly ghosts terrorizing public locations. Work together to find the Ghost, blast them with streams from the Particle Thrower to tether the slimy foe in place, and shut the trap at the perfect moment! Keep citizens calm and corral the Ghost before the environment gets too haunted.

Play as a Ghost, scaring unsuspecting citizens at various locations. You ain’t afraid of no Ghostbuster, thanks to the ability to fly and teleport between rifts. Possess objects lying around each room to sneak by roaming Ghostbusters and frighten passersby. If that doesn’t work, sliming and summoning ghoulish minions will. Haunt each map to completion as one of multiple Ghosts with different abilities.

Prepare for each match in the iconic Firehouse by customizing your Ghostbuster or Ghost, upgrading equipment and abilities, and getting some target practice in using the Particle Thrower as well as its different modifications. Talk with Winston Zeddemore, voiced by Ernie Hudson, and get missions before going out into the field. Meet some new and old friends like Dan Aykroyd’s Ray Stantz, ready to hand down some busting wisdom at Ray’s Occult Books.

Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed is set to release the game’s third DLC on August 1, 2023 on PC/Epic Games Store, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One for $19.99.

You read that correctly; starting August 1, 2023, Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed digital versions will drop to the scary good price of $19.99.

DLC #3 is loaded with exciting content. The new map will be beloved by live music fans and clubgoers alike. The map contains a delightful blend of open areas, minor verticality, and connecting hallways. Who knows what's lurking behind each turn... could it be our new Ghost-type - the Watcher, a grotesque and elusive little creature.  Look closely, and Ghostbusters fans might just recognize the “Bug-Eyed” ghosts that are well-known from the franchise. Not to mention, there are cool new threads and some great quality-of-life updates. See below for the details. 

DLC Highlights:

• New Map - The New Motion Club - The New Motion Club is a pillar of the New York underground music scene. From Baxter Hills to Trance Ratton, countless now well-known alternative acts have gotten their start here. After a change in ownership, the venue was expanded to include a two-thousand square foot street level dance hall with the original basement stage reimagined as a comedy club. More space led to bigger bands, with many considering the New Motion Club to be a necessary stop on an artist’s path to stardom. What new ownership didn’t account for though, was a recent spike in paranormal activity. Are these ghostly parasites drawn to the energy of such a vibrant place, or are they just fans of “the scene” like everyone else? Either way, it’s bad for business, but good for busting.
• New Ghost Type - Watcher - Our studies have unequivocally concluded that this ghost type is a particularly grotesque and elusive little creature. It’s safe to assume that before you ever notice a Watcher, it’s certainly already noticed you, courtesy of its giant external eye attached via a disgusting semi-corporeal tendon. A Watcher is known for sending its occult oculus hurtling toward intended scare targets and then either recoiling it back to its socket OR pulling its torso to the eye itself, phasing through anything that stands between them. So yes, it’s quite a hideous sight all around.
• New Buster Cosmetics - Including Ghostbusters (2016) film Cosmetics and Gear Shells! 
• Numerous Quality of Life updates to improve players’ gameplay experiences.

There are a total of three Necroghouly skins available in this drop, one skin for each of the Ghouly variants - Necroghouly Drake, Necroghouly Infernal and Necroghouly Wraith. 

Who you gonna call when you wanna bust some ghosts? Thanks to cross-platform multiplayer, anyone on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and/or Xbox Series X|S can come together to cross the streams or spew slime. AI companions can help fill games, or enable solo Ghostbusters or a solo Ghost to play offline.

• As the Ghost - Ghosts have multiple abilities in their arsenal, like possessing objects, of course, sliming, and more, that make haunting all the various locations a blast to play. Choose from up to five Ghosts with unique skills, ultimate abilities, and commendable minions fueled by ectoplasm. Fly around public locations and possess an inordinate amount of inanimate objects to evade pursuing Ghostbusters. Frighten citizens until they flee in fear, prank unsuspecting Ghostbusters, and hide your rifts to spawn safely in case you get trapped.
• As a Ghostbuster - Be one of the four proton pack-wielding Ghostbusters and attempt to catch a Ghost haunting unique locations with your trusty ghost trap and tools.  Use the P.K.E. Meter to sniff out rifts that act as the Ghost’s spawn points and destroy them with your Proton Pack’s particle thrower before the Ghost completes their haunt. As players progress, they will unlock cosmetics and upgrades for both Ghostbusters and Ghosts to evolve their gameplay experiences. The look and feel will deliver to fans an immersive experience in the universe, allowing them to play out their Ghostbusting fantasies.
• Locations - Explore multiple unique locations, including; a museum, winter lodge, docked ship, multi-leveled prison, an active brewery, and more. Complete challenges, customize your Ghostbuster and Ghosts and locate hidden spores, mold, and fungus to gain access to more unlockables.
