'Wreckreation' Shows Off Customization, Gameplay Footage - Trailer

Racing is awesome! Creating is awesome! So development studio Three Fields Entertainment, the team behind Burnout and Need for Speed, has combined these two elements in Wreckreation.

With the so-called live mix, you can build and alter your racing track while you (and some friends) are racing on it. Add a new curve, place a ramp to jump over - or just put a giant rubber duck in the way, it's up to you!

Wreckreation is the home of your very own MixWorld, a 400 square kilometers big racing realm that is yours to create, shape – and wreck.

Developed by Three Fields Entertainment, a team consisting of Burnout and Need for Speed series creators, Wreckreation was designed to be the ultimate open-world sandbox experience for driving and racing fans alike.

A complete world of your own design or designed together with your friends online. In Wreckreation you can continually strive to outrace, out-stunt or even out-crash yourself and the rest of the world on courses and tracks designed by you or your friends.

But yours will probably be better anyway.

At times, a project can escalate far beyond the initial expectations. Such is the case in the latest Wreckreation trailer, where a group of friends embarked on building aracing track, and things spiraled into something grander than they imagined.

What they've crafted is a colossal, fantastical, and wonderfully eccentric track, showcasing in Wreckreation that the sole boundary is the reach of your imagination!

Want to make the racetrack a little trickier for your competitors? Drop in some obstacles, or even some ramps and loops, on the fly. Car feeling a little too familiar? Just access the menu and slip into a glitzy new ride mid-stunt. Want to curate the ultimate playlist for some high-octane mayhem? We’ve got you covered.

In Wreckreation, you’re set loose in a vast track-building playground for racing, stunting, and, ultimately, crashing. You needn’t live out your mad racetrack designer fantasies in solitude, though – Wreckreation is designed with multiplayer in mind, so you can join your friends and collaborate on the ultimate vehicular paradise.

Key Features:

  • Mix Up The Leaderboards – Set records in seven different ways wherever and whenever you drive on every street in your MixWorld: Drift, Air, Near Miss, Stunt, Crash, and the more traditional, Time.
  • Mix My World – A huge, open world that is yours to discover and design. Place jumps, loops, half pipes, moving obstacles, and more almost anywhere in your MixWorld. Not even the sky is the limit!
  • Mix My Car – Paint colors, finishes, wheels, boost flames, engine sounds, glass colors, tires, manual or stick – you name it, you can customize it. Everything will be available from the beginning.
  • Mix My Music – Radio stations are the unsung heroes of racing games. Listen to 16 different channels and get updates from your MixWorld or stream your own playlists directly from Spotify.
  • Mix All Modes – Whether it’s a simple race or a team stunt event where catching the most air and landing the first barrel roll will bring points to your team, you control the gameplay in your world.
  • Mix It All – In the MixWorld you can be a god! Control the weather, time of day and the traffic! Find vacancies and build structures that impact your world beyond their foundation. The power is yours.

Wreckreation is coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam).
