Based on the popular Netflix series Kingdom, Kingdom: The Blood is a third-person action/K-zombie horror multiplayer game.

Kingdom: The Blood is staying true to the Netflix series with a massive global audience, reminiscing the series’ central theme of “inheriting the royal bloodline.” This drove the plot and was a main factor in the zombies going rampant.

Kingdom: The Blood, built on the Unreal Engine 4, the third-person action RPG will recreate the world of the original drama with high-quality 3D graphics. The characteristics and fierce battles of the zombies in “Kingdom” will be made into a high-end action game by using motion capture. Also, Kingdom: The Blood will be a manual control-based action RPG adding visceral gameplay throughout each stage of the game.

Kingdom: The Blood will feature a story mode that follows the popular Korean drama, a conquest mode that offers five-minute battles, a brutal multiplayer boss mode, PVP combat and more.

The traditional Korean clothing and unique architectural styles made with high quality graphics can be seen throughout the gameplay. The way the clothes flutter during an action skill, various traditional clothing like the ‘gat,’ and the realistic reproduction of the traditional building’s minute details like the curvature of the roof tiles can all be seen as you venture through the game. You can relive the beauty of Korea that captured the world.

Developer YJM Games and developer Action Square revealed that Kingdom: The Blood underwent testing targeting global users through 'Google CBT' and 'Steam Next Fest' and is now scheduled for a March 5, 2024 release.

Kingdom: The Blood is currently open for pre-registration on major app markets such as Google PlayApp StoreOne Store (Korean 3rd party store), and Samsung’s Galaxy Store.

Team Mago's PD, Kang Hyeong-seok, expressed, "We could confirm the enthusiastic response from global users to the unique close-quarters combat and gameplay of Kingdom: The Blood." He added, "Based on the feedback from users, we will do our best to deliver a high-quality game service until the official release."

YJM Games and Action Square plan to finalize improvements to UI and UX configuration for mobile and PC platforms based on diverse user feedback collected during this test.
