A society has discovered the power of a dead empire: to capture the spirits that govern nature and rule over them instead. However, the anger of the remaining spirits divided them. Where will you stand?

Journey through dangerous landscapes, fulfill tasks, fight, trade, take a side in a conflict of factions, gather equipment and become strong enough to survive.

You will not find quest markers or minimaps in Drova. Find your own way instead - just like in classic role-playing games. Study your environment and use the surrounding clues to reveal its mysteries.

The game offers a dynamic open world with two factions the player can join - and the world grim, unwelcoming and deadly. Players will become a part of a divided society, grown from the ashes of a dead empire. And it is in their hands how everything will end.

Deck13 Spotlight and Just2D are thrilled to announce a public playtest on Steam for Drova - Forsaken Kin.

Welcome to the promised land of Drova, where the priests have praised this new world. Full of hope you travel through a portal into this new otherworld - just to realize that you are on your own and no one seems to appreciate the paradise. Instead, Drova is a grim world where every man is for himself. 

To give players a chance to explore the dangerous lands of Drova, a public playtest will be held in April via Steam and will contain roughly 10 - 15 hours of gameplay. And you will be able to see a small part of the open world, interact with one of the factions, solve quests, fight monsters and meet characters who’ve got better things to do than to deal with you.

Interested players can now sign up to get a chance of an early look at the game.

Players are invited to provide feedback to help shaping and fine tuning the game even further.

Drova - Forsaken Kin is coming to Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam) in early 2024.
