In Killer Inn, players will put their social deduction skills to the ultimate test as they unravel secrets, form alliances, and survive the night.
A corpse has been found... and everyone is a suspect.
Welcome to the hallowed halls of Killer Inn. You have been chosen as one of the select few to participate in a one-night-only game of death, deceit, and deduction.
Will you be given the role of a wolf, to hunt among the shadows? Or will you be a lamb, but with the ability and means to fight back?
Trust no one. Question everything. The killers are hiding in plain sight—and they might just be your closest "allies."
In deception we trust.
In Killer Inn, 24 players are invited to a mysterious castle by a shadowy organization known as Astra to compete to win unfathomable riches. They will be randomly and secretly assigned one of two roles: Wolves, whose mission is to hunt and kill, and Lambs, who must fight back and survive the mayhem or escape the castle. Players must use every weapon, tool and clue in their arsenal to survive and win. With the killers hiding in plain sight, players will need to question everything—even their closest allies. By the end of the night, all players must kill, be killed, or escape the madness.

Q13. Is KILLER INN similar to other social deduction games like “werewolf” or “mafia”?
While there are social deduction elements in KILLER INN, there is no discussion or voting to eliminate players, which means you don’t have to get too into the weeds about things.
Q14. Do the wolves win by eliminating all the lambs, and vice versa?
Yup! Take out everyone on the other team to win. That being said, the lambs can also win if they collect all the keys, open the gate to the harbor, and escape on the ship.
Q15. What determines whether I’m a wolf or a lamb?
Players are randomly assigned the role of either a wolf or a lamb, and each starts the game in their own guest room.
Lambs cannot tell who the wolves or other lambs are. Wolves, on the other hand, can see each player's role via icons next to their usernames. Wolves must not reveal their true identity.
Q16. How many wolves and how many lambs are there?
This closed beta test is a 24-player experience. Out of the 24, 8 are wolves and 16 are lambs.
Q17. How should I play the game?
Whether you're a wolf or a lamb, your goal is to eliminate the opposing team. At the start of the game, focus on collecting weapons and items to help you fight. Talk to the staff to receive quests, and use the tokens you earn from these quests to open chests and gather equipment.
Q18. What should I do as a wolf?
Blend in with the lambs while collecting weapons and items. Search for lone lambs and strike when the opportunity presents itself!
Q19. What should I do as a lamb?
Gather weapons and items to fight against the wolves. If you come across a corpse, be sure to collect their clues! They are key to narrowing down who the wolves are. The more clues you gather, the easier it becomes to identify the wolves.
If you’re confident someone is a wolf, take them out. You can also sell clues to the staff to share it with others, and earn gold and XP. Work together and gather as many clues as possible!
Q20. Can I just take out anyone suspicious?
Not if you want to stay in the game! If a lamb tries to kill another lamb, it's considered a bad guess, and the attacker is removed from the game.
Q21. Can a wolf avoid suspicion by not killing anyone?
No. Clues hinting at the wolves’ identities can also be found on “Sacrifices”—corpses already present at the start of the game.
Q22. Do I need deduction and communication skills to win?
These can give an advantage. However, it's also possible to gain an edge through action game or shooter game skills, not just communication.
Q23. Where are the game’s servers located?
We have servers in North America, Europe, and Asia. You will automatically be connected to servers in the region nearest you.
Q24. My character has gotten stuck on a building/door and can’t move. Help!
We apologize for the inconvenience. We are taking every effort during development to prevent this kind of issue, but should your character become stuck, try using the “/unstuck” command.
- Press [Enter] to open chat window
- Type “/unstuck”
- Press [Enter] again
If this doesn’t resolve the issue, then you will have to leave the game from the pause menu. You will receive no penalty for doing so. Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience.
Asymmetrical × Murder Mystery x Action Game
Who is a wolf...?
24 of you will take part in this one-night-only murder mystery game. Some of you will take on the role of wolves, while the rest play as lambs.
Wolves must disguise themselves amongst the lambs, hiding their true nature as they wait for the right moment to strike. But do not fret dear lambs, the numbers favor your side.
It will be chaotic, you will suspect your neighbors, and there will be white-knuckled battles drenched in blood. And we can guarantee that you will have the time of your lives, for however long remains of it.
Clues will lead you to the truth
Every crime scene contains clues: hair, fingerprints, blood, clothing...
Who do the clues point to? The more clues you gather, the more you can narrow down who the culprit is.
The rules
Winning is simple: eliminate the opposing team!
It's a life-or-death battle between the wolves and lambs. Who will reign supreme? The lambs, with numbers on their side, or the wolves, whose identities are unknown and can hide among the flock?
However, the cleverest of lambs have another path to victory: escape.
Can you flee the castle? All you must do is secure keys to the harbor gate and raise the anchors. Easy, right? But can you truly trust everyone working alongside you?
Fight to survive
Forget voting and finger-pointing. Once you've found the killer, it's time to fight. If you're strong or clever, you'll survive. If not? You're just another corpse in a hallway.
Kill however you like
An array of items are hidden in the castle:
- Guns and melee weapons to give yourself a fighting chance
- Traps and poisons perfect for murder
- Armor and gas masks to protect oneself
There's no one sure-fire strategy. Your path to victory is shaped by your playstyle.
Focus Mode
Sharpen your senses and feel your surroundings come alive. Focus Mode lets you detect a killer's footprints, bullet casings and glass fragments, or even sounds through walls.
Immersive voice chat with 3D audio
Want to talk in private? Step into a room and close the door. KILLER INN uses 3D audio voice chat that takes into account players' locations, distance between them, and the space around them. Not a fan of voice chat? You can also communicate using a wide range of emotes and stamps.
Unique characters, endless strategies
Who do you want to be? Reinvent yourself by adopting whichever persona you like. Each character has their own unique abilities. They can be silent movers, master sleuths, or even expert thieves. Use their skills to shape your strategy and turn the tide.
Play solo, or in a duo, trio, or squad!
Whether you roll solo or bring a crew, the ultimate game is waiting for you. Form a skilled squad of detectives, or become a cunning pack of wolves. You can stay in sync with your party members through voice chat even when they're not in close proximity.
Key Features:
- Dynamic Social Deduction — Lambs must work together to scour the castle for resources and investigate clues from slain players to deduce and hunt down the killers while also seeking their escape. Meanwhile, Wolves must put on a convincing show to gain trust, all while covering their tracks and continuing their killing spree until there are no Lambs left alive.
- Varied Gameplay Mechanics — To survive, devise and thrive, players must level up their gameplay by completing quests, looting chests for weapons and armor, stealing from fellow players, setting up intricate traps, upgrading equipment and more.
- Vibrant Cast of Characters — Players can choose from over 20 characters, each with their own strengths, weaknesses, abilities and unique backstories, that best suits their individual playstyle.
