Originally planned for launch on July 22, 2025, developer Cara Cadaver is still waiting on build approval and has to delay the launch until further notice.

Hey everybody,

Maybe we should’ve known after plenty of creators told us VILE: Exhumed was too intense to cover, that we might run into issues releasing the game… 

We’ve been waiting for build approval for about a month now, and since we haven’t received any updates, we wanted to go ahead and pre-emptively let everyone know we’re going to have to ‘delay’ the launch. It would be ideal to have a date to give, and we’ve all got our fingers crossed that it’ll be soon, but until approval comes through it’s not something we have control over.

You’ll know as soon as we do, we’ll pick the first date we can after approval to get VILE launched.
