Hundreds of free demos await you as Steam Next Fest kicks off a full week of fun, all in celebration of upcoming games on Steam.

Spend Steam Next Fest playing as many demos as you want; just don't forget to wishlist your favorites so that you can stay in-the-know with the developers when they officially launch.

Valve/Steam hosts Next Fest three times a year (February, June, October) as a way to give developers from around the world a captive audience for their demos on games they haven't released yet. If you already have a bunch of genres that are your faves, feel free to search that way. BUT we also encourage you to try something new-- check out the video player at the top of the main Next Fest hub for a new sprinkling of demos each day and perhaps discover your NEW favorite genre or theme!

Several developers are hosting livestreams as well, so be sure to check those out.

• Cathedral: Crow’s Curse: Set in the same universe as Cathedral, but with its own story and style, Cathedral: Crow's Curse is an action-adventure with tight combat and a focus on exploration. Parry, dodge and fight your way through numerous enemies in a rich detailed world as you uncover the events leading up to Cathedral.
• Clockwork Ambrosia: Clockwork Ambrosia is a steampunk fusion of metroidvania and weapon-building 2D shooter. Players pull on the boots of an airship pilot to combat an army of deadly robots and monsters. Experiment with a range of rule-breaking weapon modifications and armors to prevail through this wild adventure!

• Dark Pals - The 1st Floor: In this singleplayer mascot horror game you're trapped in an abandoned children’s asylum. Solve twisted puzzles with your Ink Blaster, evade its disturbing mascots, and uncover secrets you had long forgotten about. Do you remember?

If they get bored they will cancel their subscription and your investors will have your head. You can even play the game you create.
• MANIFESTO: Congratulations on starting your new company. Your goal is simple. Make money, lots of it, by any means necessary. Hire hordes of staff, burn them out, then throw them away. After all, don't you want to be happy? Money buys happiness.
