FixForce is a chaotic, wacky online co-op for up to six people playing as a robot repair crew. In each round, players build bridges, towers, and ramps out of junk, allowing them to climb around the map, find what needs fixing, and retrieve replacement parts.
Making repairs comes with the constant risk of death from falls, water damage, and run-ins with violent enemy bots. When crew members’ batteries hit zero, their heads will pop off but remain piloted by the player until they are reattached to a body by a teammate. While they await rescue, heads can scoot around and even nudge their bodies into a more convenient location for retrieval.
FixForce, which will be Surgent’s first self-published title, takes place in a vibrant post-post apocalyptic setting that suggests the age of humans is long gone while leaving much of the circumstances to mystery.
Surgent Studios announced that FixForce will be available to play in Early Access on Steam and the Epic Games Store on March 12, 2026.
Surgent Studios founder and House of the Dragon star Abubakar Salim said, “We saw the pure chaos and hilarity FixForce unleashed as it came together, so we made the decision to move quickly and publish it ourselves. Yes, FixForce is completely unlike anything we’ve ever done before, but look: we made one game about grief and another about abuse and thought, ‘can we have a little bit of silly, stupid fun for a second?’ I promise we’ll go back to dark and depressing after this!”
FixForce is coming to PC (Steam / Epic Games Store) and Xbox in 2026.
