The first major game developed by Skybound’s first in-house gaming studio set in Invincible universe, Invincible VS features fan-favorite superheroes - Mark Grayson (Invincible), Atom Eve, Thula, Bulletproof and more - iconic locations, an original story from the creative team behind the smash-hit adult animated television series, visceral bloody combat and an authentic depiction of the destruction and mayhem that captures the chaos and heart that franchise fans know and love.

Based on Skybound’s acclaimed comic book series by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker and Ryan Ottley - which had a 15-year run at Image Comics and a historic 146 issues - Invincible VS delivers a one-of-a-kind blend of superhero spectacle and brutal combat. Players will harness explosive powers and unleash bone-breaking combos through fast tag-team mechanics and strategic defensive play. With every vicious Super and Ultimate move, players will deal more damage to their opponents and leave the arenas in a mess of blood. 

Invincible VS will offer players a variety of dynamic game modes that raise the stakes with every battle. Developer Quarter Up announced Powerplex as the newest playable fighter in its upcoming 3v3 tag fighting game, Invincible VS.

He joins a growing roster of fan-favorite characters, such as Mark Grayson (Invincible), Thula, Bulletproof, Atom Eve, Rex Splode, Omni-Man, Battle Beast, Cecil Stedman, Robot, Monster Girl, Anissa, Lucan and Invincible VS’ first new original character, Ella Mental.

Former GDA scientist turned high-voltage villain, Powerplex - a.k.a Scott Duvall - is a man riddled with grief after his sister and niece were killed during the destruction of Chicago, and he blames Invincible for their deaths. Harnessing his ability to convert kinetic energy into electricity, Powerplex lets his intense hatred and unrelenting anger drive him toward an unhinged quest for revenge, yielding disastrous results. In Invincible VS, he is a ranged Fighter able to maintain pressure and control spacing on opponents through electrified air attacks and excellent ground mobility, allowing for brutal combo strings.

Invincible VS is coming to Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC (Steam) on April 30, 2026.
