Beast Breaker is a turn-based action adventure. You play as a tiny warrior named Skipper, tasked with defending innocents from giant mosaic Beasts that threaten to destroy everything. The game combines satisfying pinball physics with tactical decision making. Pick a style of attack, line up the best angle, and launch! Watch Skip careen around the screen and break the giant Beasts to pieces.

Along the way, you'll meet a vibrant cast of characters who will help you on your journey, and maybe even help you discover the origin of the Beasts...

Beast Breaker is the greatest mouse bouncing, monster trouncing, tactical ricochet RPG you've probably never heard of, let alone played. However, more than four years since it launched as an Epic Games Store exclusive, and three years after the closure of the studio that created it, Vodeo Games, Beast Breaker is ready to make its long overdue Steam debut on 26th March.

The arrival of Beast Breaker on Steam is thanks to a joint-publishing venture between Kando Factory and history-making developer Vodeo Games – in 2021 it became the first game development studio in North America to unionise, but was ultimately forced to close its doors a year later due to a lack of funding.

However, despite technically no longer existing, the opportunity to partner with Kando Factory to bring Beast Breaker to a wider audience was too good for Vodeo Games to miss.

"We wanted to release on Steam since day one, so I'm delighted this is finally happening," explains Vodeo founder Asher Vollmer. "Me and a dozen other people poured our heart and soul into Beast Breaker. It was such a labor of love. I'm happy to say that everyone who helped will directly benefit from this new release."

The upcoming Steam version of Beast Breaker will be largely unchanged from the original, although some minor tweaks have been made to reduce early game grinding. In addition, story dialogue has received lots of small updates: character lines and expressions have been refined, and some text cut from the original has been reinstated. And, of course, Steam Achievements are now featured!

A Beast Breaker demo is available now on Steam, and the full game is already available on Epic Games Store and Nintendo Switch, both self-published by Vodeo Games.
