Today, Fumi Games and PlaySide Studios are excited to reveal the upcoming release of the jazz-soaked Original Game Soundtrack (OST).
Both a digital and physical release via Mondo are incoming, featuring all-original tunes from composer Patryk Scelina, in addition to a brand-new track created for the game by Parisian high-voltage jazz powerhouses Caravan Palace.
The official MOUSE: P.I. For Hire soundtrack will be released on April 16 across music streaming platforms, and later as an exclusive physical release on vinyl in partnership with Mondo. As seen in the above behind the scenes video, the soundtrack was recorded live and on-site across sessions in both Georgia and Poland. Composer Patryk Scelina remarked, “Creating the music for MOUSE: P.I. For Hire has been a project like no other! MOUSE is inspired by the big band swing of the 1930’s, but designed to dance around players’ moves. I really wanted the music to sound like old movies and also use a catchy theme for the main protagonist, Jack Pepper. I cannot wait for players to experience it!”.
The physical vinyl release - which will be available to pre-order alongside the game’s launch on April 16 - will be pressed onto a Mondo Exclusive Black and White Splatter vinyl, housed in a custom 350gsm jacket, and will display exclusive artwork by the team at Fumi Games. The vinyl release will feature the full Original Game Soundtrack (OST), including 18 original tracks, written and recorded exclusively for the game by composer Patryk Scelina, in addition to “Good Mouse”, the exclusive track from Caravan Palace.
The OST Vinyl will be available online, exclusively from Mondo at the following link, and will be officially available for pre-order from April 16, 2026.
The digital version of the OST, in addition to all major music streaming platforms, will also be available on Steam as both a standalone soundtrack and as part of the game’s Digital Deluxe Edition - available for pre-purchase today! The digital version of the OST will feature an additional track, exclusive to the digital release, and is available to pre-save now.
Caravan Palace Exclusive Track “Good Mouse”
The brand new single “Good Mouse” - a piece written exclusively for MOUSE: P.I. For Hire and featured in-game - is releasing across music streaming services on April 2. A full animated music video for the track will also be released later this week, showcasing the iconic 1930’s black and white, rubber hose style that appears in the game. With Caravan Palace being well known for their unique blend of vintage influences and modern music production, a more natural and fitting pairing would be hard to find!
“Working with Caravan Palace has been incredible”, said Mateusz Michalak - CEO, Fumi Games. “Their iconic style is the perfect pairing for MOUSE: P.I. For Hire, and the reason we reached out to the band so early in our development journey. Our jazz-fueled adventure needed a track with immediacy, groove and impact, built around a strong rhythmic drive and a sense of raw energy. “Good Mouse” connects the punch and swagger of electro-swing to modern, cinematic music production. The result is a collaboration where sound and visuals collide in full force: vintage attitude, razor-sharp beats, and pure push-forward momentum.”
Pre-save “Good Mouse” here and check out the brand new music video when it releases on April 2nd.
