Endorsed as part of the official Survivors lineage, this standalone game brings familiar tides of endless enemies with fresh twists, iconic characters, and powerful weapons, packaged in an entirely new setting. Or should we say, settings!  

Choosing from the Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar universes, players will lead a roster of iconic characters and endure against the swarms of relentless enemies. Weapons and power-ups can be combined into devastating new forms to create screen-clearing storms of bullets, blades and magic.Every stage is a new arena of slaughter, each with its unique enemy faction... and secrets to uncover.

Death is not the end for these champions of endless war. Experiment in every run with new strategies, unlocking new characters, upgrades, weapon combinations, as well as troves of secrets and collectables waiting to be discovered.

Auroch Digital announced that Warhammer Survivors is launching on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 1 and 2 alongside Steam later this year.

Also revealed in the trailer as part of the Triple-i Showcase, was a roster of new playable characters from the Warhammer 40,000 universe. The previously announced Malum Caedo (the iconic hero from Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun) makes an appearance alongside new faces such as...  

• Chaplain Fo’Baran of the Salamanders Space Marine Chapter.
• Knight-Commander Pask, a Tank-ace and the LARGEST Warhammer Survivors character so far, who commands a Leman Russ Tank capable of crushing light foes beneath its tracks.
• The one-man army, The Legend of Catachan, a feared veteran of the Catachan Jungle Fighters.
• Marneus Calgar, Chapter Master of the Ultramarines, wielding the mighty Gauntlets of Ultramar.
• And last, but most certainly not least, Commissar Sebastian Yarrick, the old man of Armageddon and bane to Orkoid.

DEVASTATING NEW WEAPONS 

What’s the best way to deal with the green tide? A cache of devastating new weapons! 

• D6 Dice – exploding dice inflicting damage determined by the number rolled
• Power Fist – a giant fist that swings in an arc around the player
• Gauntlets of Ultramar (Evolved) - an evolved version of the Power Fist, which unleashes a hail of bolter rounds with every swipe!
• Orbital Bombardment (Evolved) – A devastating barrage from a voidship, obliterating multiple targets and leaving nothing but scorched ruin in its wake.
• Emperor’s Wrath (Evolved) - a blazing aura of faith that scorches nearby foes with righteous vengeance.

WAAAGH! A NEW ENEMY FACTION 

Shown stomping through the new Ork Stronghold stage, the Orks are a mean mob of boisterous bullies who hurl heaps of different enemy types at the player, including:

• Cowardly, vicious grots, forced onto the front lines by the bigger, meaner orks.
• Scrappy Ork Boyz.
• Speed freak Warbikers who barrel toward the player, intent on destruction.
• Savage Bomb Squigs (who blow up after grabbing themselves a tasty bite of the player character).
• Enemies with a whole lotta dakka (which means ‘bullets’ to the likes of me and you): Ork Lootas and the Big Mek with Shokk Attack Gun
• ...and that’s not even all da boyz!

If you’re already having trouble remembering all those names, don’t worry... we’ve got one more for you! The biggest and meanest Ork of all, Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka – Warhammer Survivors’ first Extremis Boss. With Ghazghkull’s own unwieldy attack patterns and his ability to call hordes of Orks to his side, it’ll take more than a fancy armoury of evolved weapons to deal with this massive brute.
