In the 19th century, Canudos became a refuge for thousands. When its people defied the new Republic, they faced brutal retaliation, leaving 25,000 dead.
Play as Pajeú, a warrior fighting to rescue the soul of The Counselor, his fallen mentor, , venturing as far and as fast as they can while the Hell Clock ticks away. With each descent, time warps, and your power grows as you confront the dark forces that claimed his head and trapped his soul.
Players blast through hellish creatures and bosses floor by floor, equipped with Blessed Gear and wielding inhuman Skills. Unique Relics shape their builds in each roguelike run, taking advantage of powerful synergies to battle the demons of Brazil’s past, present, and future.

Hell Clock will now launch on PS5 and XBox Series X|S on July 14, 2026. The game’s first major expansion, Cursed War, will drop on consoles and Steam on the same date.
Originally announced with a June 2 launch date, the launch of the Hell Clock console edition and Cursed War expansion was shifted to avoid Path of Exile’s recent Return of the Ancients update.
Hell Clock: Cursed War builds on the base game with:
