As WP's managing editor, I edit review and preview articles, attempt to keep up with the frantic pace of Rainier's news posts, and keep our reviewers on deadline, which is akin to herding cats. When I have a moment to myself and don't have my nose in a book, I like to play action/RPG, adventure and platforming games.

Days Gone is an open-world action game set in the high-desert of the Pacific Northwest two years after a mysterious global pandemic has decimated the world, killing most but transforming millions into mindless, feral creatures.

Michael Keener: If you haven't already seen the gameplay videos for Days Gone, go look it up right now. There's a badass biker guy who's seemingly inspired by Daryl from "The Walking Dead," and the zombie hordes look like they were ripped out of the "World War Z" movie, and it's all located in the Pacific Northwest. It's a dream of a nightmare. I'm excited to see how well the hordes of zombies perform on the PlayStation 4.

Andreas Salmen: I'm intrigued by the dangerous zombie hordes and the fact that Sony exclusives have been pretty darn good in recent years. Days Gone does check all the boxes for an atmospheric and engaging story-driven, single-player game. Here's hoping that Days Gone will scratch The Last of Us itch until the second part finally arrives.

Thomas Wilde: Open-world zombie shooter. I gotta be me.
